Job description:
Geotech Engineering and Testing are currently in search of an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant position is a salary position with benefits and yearly evaluations after a 90-day probation period. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, collecting past dues, and keeping track of sick/vacation time, and vendor payments.  Process payroll taxes for each payroll period and process quarterly and yearly taxes.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday.
  • Must have experience in secretary/accounting.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable in QuickBooks Accounting.
  • Software, Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBooks (Desktop).
  • Must be able to do past dues.
  • Must be able to type 45 WPM.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to answer multi-Phone lines.
  • Industry knowledge is a definite plus but not required.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Base on Experience)
